Lately we have seen many repairs that have come in involving the same missing key, like the right arrow key, removed on numerous Chromebooks. In some schools the screens (LCDs) are damaged intentionally on a daily basis. Accidents do happen, but the sheer volume of the same type of repair has cause for concern. Schools that have no recourse seem to have the highest number of repairs. When students are fined and suspended it does help a lot. However in some states you can’t charge students for the repair. It becomes an educational necessity and must be replaced or repaired.
